Wow... it's been awfully quiet here for waaay too long!
Time to change this status quo.
What's going on in your lives? Any plans?
My only promise at the end of last year was: NO NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS this time! Because every resolution I had before either didn't work out at all or not the way I wanted to. So I made no 2009 resolutions... Honestly!
And maybe that was what I needed ...(and should've done long time ago)... Because from the very beginning good things started to happen
After a few years of absence on the theatrical stage I got a nice role in Anton Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard"; a couple of friends of mine decided to write a script for a play (or musical) based on my 'dark' short story called "The Ray of Light"; and I've fallen in love with a Kiwi
I've also created a promo brochure for EveEve (just awaiting text approval from the guys); hoping to make the 'Eve gigs in PL a reality; dying to hear the new EE and AE songs in 2009 and waiting to read MZ's report from his DJ-ing gigs over Christmas!
How about everybody else??

No new years resolutions from me, tho i am gonna try and get a driving lisence. If the money situation is ok that is...
Works a bit dodgy at the minute with work levels being very low, but fingers crossed we can ride out the problems.
Thats great news on the stage front i have a friend of mine who is an actor and i know how important it is for him to be up there on the stage, so it must be a great thing to be back up there.
I am also looking forward to anything new from the eve boys, its been a long time since T&F now so something new will just be amazing but obviously with the music buisness as it is, it cant be easy for them.
Had my first gig of the year yesterday- edguy
Amazing gig coming up i have 69 eyes and tiamat so its all cool on the gig front.
Lets hope everything comes together for everyone, Happy 2009 everyone!
Stage is addictive
Even though I'm not a pro in any way, shape or form... There's just such an adrenaline-rush every time you step out in front of an audience Kind of like (high) mountain hiking or skiing...
Hello to everyone!!
Do you still remember me? Hopefully!
I'm back again, after ages, it seems...
I'm sorry, but now I have a quite good internet connection and things should be better now.
This is the first thread I check, so I don't know anything about all your news and so on...therefore...how's life going?
Here, many many things changed during 2008.
I got graduated (now I'm even supposed to be a geologist), but I'm still unemployed; I got married and I changed house & city (I think I should say village) and..
...I think it's enough!
So.. happy 2009 to everyone and may it be wonderful for all!
Hi Chlamys!!! indeed it has been a while.
its great to see you back, hope you stick around.
Huge congrats on the marriage and graduation! you have indeed been busy.
hope the new town(village whatever) is going well.
I am going to start to learn to drive (dont really want to but its for the kids mainly) another HUGE drain on the expenses huh?
Shadowy, I adore driving and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too (actually I think: how can anyone not like it ) (tho I know the feeling about expenses, ugh! )
2009 is looking better for me with a new job (or rather a new client which pays a better rate for easier translations), tons of concerts (Opeth, Agua de Annique, RADIOHEAD [finally!] and Anathema, so far) and new stuff by most of my fave bands (Eve stuff on the top of the list, specially with that 'change of style' that's got me really curious).
And then, there's a possibility of visiting Germany again. What more can I ask for?
Great to see both chlamys and kain back here! it has been a long time kain, great news on being an uncle and indeed a better paying job.
Work has taken a poor turn for the worst in my end of the world, with orders being down quite bad. having to take lay off days. It is normally seasonaly quiet this time of year but it is much worse. Lets hope it will pick up huh?
Well, had a lot of trouble regarding my finances and my grandmother died. Lots of turmoil within the family but things are much better these days. I can't believe my luck. Hopefully, I'll be able to travel abroad again.
the Triad of groupies (Kat, Shadowy and me) are always around. so, it's nice to see the girls back, too. What has happened to you both?
sounds like its been a bad time, letshope its coming back together for you kain.
works picking up a bit our end (usually a seasonal peak but good to see a pick up after several months of scarse work) lets hope it carries on. gotta feed my cd habit :d
