Ah, yes, Watchmen. I first saw it, then read the comic. I liked how they adapted the ending, although the Matrix-like fight in the prison kind of ticked me off.

Well, had a lot of trouble regarding my finances and my grandmother died. Lots of turmoil within the family but things are much better these days. I can't believe my luck. Hopefully, I'll be able to travel abroad again.

the Triad of groupies (Kat, Shadowy and me) are always around. so, it's nice to see the girls back, too. What has happened to you both?

Fuck Twilight. This is the best vampire movie I've seen in ages:

Let the Right One In (Swedish: Låt den rätte komma in)

Beautiful, a bit gory and above all, emotional. It's a bout the love story between two preteens. The problem is that the girl isn't a girl, but a creature with a deeper hunger that gnaws her being.

Highly recommendable. Try to avoid the other trailers as they contain spoilers. The main characters are so well defined and perform so well that you'll remember how difficult it was being in love and surviving school. And the music, mein Gott, the music!

Well, this week I saw Coraline, a movie based on a short story by Neil Gailman which is really cool. It was specially edited to be featured as a 3D movie, and that is most impressive. My youngest sister loved it.

Also, Repo, the Genetic Opera is a soon-to-become classic musical in the line of The Rocky Horror Picture Show but with plot. It's weird and sometimes cheesy (which adds up to it's 'cult' status) but it's got the following:

-Sarah Brightman
-Ogre (yeah, from Skinny Puppy)
-Paris Hilton (!)
-Yoshiki (J-music fans will know him as the mastermind of XJapan)
-Gore and blood

2009 is looking better for me with a new job (or rather a new client which pays a better rate for easier translations), tons of concerts (Opeth, Agua de Annique, RADIOHEAD [finally!] and Anathema, so far) and new stuff by most of my fave bands (Eve stuff on the top of the list, specially with that 'change of style' that's got me really curious).

And then, there's a possibility of visiting Germany again. What more can I ask for?

Rise your hand all those who want to know more about those gorgeous guitars? *rises hand* I'm no guitar player, but I love everything about sounds, and technical specs (got a broad imagination).

Just take a look at the guys' faces, they are so happy. Just imagine how great are the new songs going to sound like... Oh, fucking yeah!

BTW, that's a really neat and comfortable-looking studio.
