the last couple of months we've been working on new material; now we're pleased to inform you that three brand-new songs are about to be finished (working titles: "Revelation", "Regret", "Reborn").

As you know, we usually don't mark time when it comes to our musical e-volution, so be prepared for yet another roller coaster ride of new inspiration and visions (without losing track of our very own musical roots and style, of course!). We're pretty excited about the new material and are looking forward to how the public and you E-maniacs in particular are going to like it! We aim to record and publish the songs in early winter. When exactly and how will be disclosed to you in the near future, just check the news-section every now and then!

For the time being, we wish you an awesome summer and want to express our gratitude for your continuing support!

(April '08) Dear E-Maniacs,

it's been a while since breaking in the new year and we hope everyone had a splendid start off!

Some of the following plans for 2008 for us are:

- As you know last year has been a real creative year for us and some of us gave birth to new, exciting projects.
This year we will stay on that path and get ready to go public with some of them. Definitely planned to hit you 2008 is the project of MZ and Martin C., which will be somewhat different and probably still very interesting for E-Maniacs. We'll keep you posted!

- The shows 2007 (incl. the after show parties) have been a load of fun for us. We'd certainly like to do more of that and we will, as long as offers and surrounding circumstances match up, do so.
Also still to be confirmed but in the works, are EverEve concerts in eastern Europe for the end of the year. Same here: You will be the first to know as soon as they're all wrapped up!

- New EverEve song ideas are in the making as well. We continue to stay active with this in order to satisfy your needs....:-).
When and how anything will be released is still up in the air, but we are confident that we will be able to pass along more concrete information regarding this matter, to you.

So the E.story goes on and will be broadened more so through some related projects.Since we have so much work ahead of us it is time to to get back to it now and keep going!
We hope that you will stay a part of our constant progression and thank you for keeping the faith and your ongoing support!!

(December '07) Dear E-Maniacs,

another year comes to an end…, and we’d like to wish you a merry christmas, lot’s of luck, success and plenty of inspiration for the forthcoming year!!

As you know, we’ve been working on some new song ideas and returned back on stage for some live shows in 2007.

This turned out to be a hell of a lot of fun and a great time, since we also were able to meet some of you in person and celebrate together.

Coming up in January will be some meetings in order to plan ahead for 2008. As always, we’ll keep you posted on any developments as they turn up. Just keep checking our website news and/or the forum there every once in a while.

In these rather difficult times in the music biz, where bands, labels, festivals etc. die out on a regular basis, you give us strength and additional motivation to continue our task and keep on working on more E-vision music!

We thank all of you for your support and hope you’ll stick with us in the future as you did in the past!

(December 09th 2006) !! New EverEve Album 2007 !!

Having decided to work on a new EverEve album and recording it sometime in 2007, has triggered quite a wave of enthusiasm in their enviroment and EverEve would like to share the news about that decision with you.The first couple of sessions of spontaneous playing and working on some first ideas really has the guys pysched up big time and they are strongly motivated about getting down to work!! Of course this is the early stage of a new album as you know it and there will be much more to keep you updated on throughout the process!

So watch it, there is no escape in 2007! This should also clear all rumors denouncing the end of EverEve!!

(December 23rd 2005) Dear E-maniacs,

Season's greetings, happy holidays and a joyful new year 2006!

As so many times in the past, last year wasn't always smooth sailing ...another line-up change, business-related trouble ...yet, we released our new album "Tried & Failed" and produced our first "proper" Video-clip. We are deeply grateful for all your help and that you stuck with us through it all, especially the people who are actively participating in the forum! We hope to be able to count on you in the future as well ;)

Since the last eighteen months consumed quite a bit of our energy, we agreed on using the new year to recover creativity-wise and charge the old batteries. Hence, we won't begin working on another EverEve album for the time being. Instead, we'll takle all the stuff our heads & hearts seemed to insist on doing for a while now, like projects, guest appearences, experimenting with different styles of music etc...

In order that you don't forget us, we are going to play a couple of select shows & fests in 2006; to get signs of life and updates about EverEve on a regular basis, visit "www.evereve.net", check the concert dates and chat with us at the forum. It goes without saying that we'll forward every piece of relevant information regarding EverEve.

(August '05) Video Clip...

Since the release of the new EverEve album "Tried & Failed", the band continues working with no rest. After "Tried & Failed" entered the Top 25 German Metal & Rock DJ Charts in the first week, the guys now work with Director Marco Schirmer (Destruction, Rage, among others) on their first "reel" official video clip. Furthermore is the very first EverEve Concert trip to the U.K. in the works and vocalist MZ will be tearing up the place as Star-DJ at the infamous "666"-Party in Vienna on October 29th...

Dear E-Maniacs,

in conjunction with the release of our new album “Tried & Failed” (June 27th, 2005), release parties at designated locations will be held again. Not only will you be able to exclusively listen to “Tried & Failed”, but also have the chance to get a hold of some special EverEve gifts… and probably even meet some of us in person. (April '05) Tried ... but not failed ...

The longest and most intensive production process in the band history of EverEve has now come to an end.

“Tried & Failed” will be released on June 27^th 2005 via Massacre Records/Soulfood. Besides the heavy guitars and electronic sounds, there is a strong emphasis on our orchestral, epic side. Once again we were supported by sound–guru Joerg Huettner, who in the meantime established himself in the film industry as well by participating in several major motion picture soundtracks (Catwoman, The Ring 2, Batman Begins, i.a.).

The content of the lyrics of “Tried & Failed” deals with the omnipresent human quest for indulgence, fulfillment and submission and its equally omnipresent failure in an emotiona, sexual and spiritual regard.

For the elaborate, visual realisation of the album concept, two of the leading international avant–garde photo artists Markus Richter and Cane Hoyer (Glamour – Germany, Madame, MAX, AMICA, JustBeMan–Magazine, Eros–Zine USA, SAT 1, Ketchum – New York, Eastman–Kodak i.a.) could be employed exclusively. So get surprised...

it's time to get serious, as we've already announced to you a while ago. Production kick-off for the new album, entitled "TRIED & FAILED", will be in January at the Gerassi Park Studio under the wings of longtime producer Gerhard Magin and is scheduled to be released in early summer 2005, via Massacre Records/Connected. Besides the musical progression of the EverEve vision, supported by soundgod Jörg Hüttner, we especially emphasised on the visual aspect to come more to the fore this time around. For the elaborate, visual realisation of the album concept, we were able to employ Markus Richter, one of the leading international avant-garde photo artists (Glamour - Germany, Madame, MAX, AMICA, JustBeMan-Magazine, Woman, Eros - Ezine USA, ProSieben, SAT 1, Ketchum - New York, Eastman Kodak USA, a.o.) and graphic arts designer Cane Hoyer (Artcore Magazine a.o.). This will be their exclusive debut work in the music industry as well. Providing his support will be our friend Aleksander Zivanov, who already designed all the graphic art work for the last three albums. Selected photos from the extensive EverEve shooting can also be seen in Markus Richter's forthcoming book, as well as excerpts on our website and at www.markus-richter-photography.com .

EverEve tradition has it to reach out internationally with songs in different languages, whether it be French, Spanish, German or English. This time we'll have another similar surprise for you. Alexander Ivanov, leader of the Russian rock band "Amulet", is going to be featured on guest vocals in one song, to which a shooting of the first official EverEve-video clip will take place in Moscow 2005. As you can imagine, we were quite surprised to learn about another German band featuring a song with Russian lyrics on their current album as well. We hope this won't confuse anyone. But that's life…

The rather sad news we need to inform you about is that guitarist SK Kiefer Durden had to part ways with the band due to reasons of time, which was not an easy decision for him.
Above this unfortunate turn of events, we would like to thank him for all the years of working together and wish him all the best for his future.
Our decision to continue as a four-piece band is based on long and thorough discussions, as well as the latest rehearsals, which promise to unleash the strongest EverEve line-up yet.
Get ready to experience yet another new and exciting chapter of "E-story" in the making!

(June 26th, '04) Dear E-Maniacs!

Having just finished the last round of Festival - and Headlinershows 2004, as well as the recording of a cover of "Cold" for "A Tribute to the Cure - II" sampler to be released in September by Equinoxe Records, we just put all live activities on hold in order to fully focus on the songwriting for the new album. The first batch of songs is ready to be pre- produced soon by ourselves. The final production will get under way in Winter 2004/2005, shooting for a release around spring time 2005 by Massacre Records/Soulfood. In addition to plenty of familiar EverEve elements - contributing his share of electronic mayhem will be Soundgod Joerg Huettner again, who is also working on the soundtrack for the major motion picture "Catwoman" in Hollywood at the time - we still do emphasize on the importance of further developing the EverEve-vision. A concert trip to Moscow in March this year left such a strong impression on us, it naturally paved the way for some interesting surprises to come... More information soon to come...

After numerous festival - and single shows as well as selective supporting ( Typ O Negative, Placebo....) in 2003, dusky cyborgs EverEve are currently working on some new ideas for the next album. Further are we about to enter the studio to put the song "Cold" of The Cure, through the EverEve grinder. For the first time in the band's history we will be traveling to Russia, in march, for an extensive feature on MTV Russia. Highlight of that trip will be a headliner show in Moscow. If the all Eves survive this journey without any permanent damage you can salute us live twice in the springtime in Germany:

The brand new video of "Her Last Summer", from the new EverEve album " .enetics ", premiered on MTV Romania on monday july 28th! It was featured by MTV's " Super Rock" host Lenti Chiriac. His show airs every monday night for three hours. " Her Last Summer " is on regular rotation now!
We hope our fans there enjoy the clip and hang in there 'til we get a chance to come over for some real LIVE MANIA!! As you would say in your native tounge: " NOROK" ( Romanian for cheers) & keep it up!!

(July 29th '03) !!STRANGE DAYS THESE DAYS!!

Hello everybody!
We figured to fill you in on some very strange things that seem to keep happening to us lately, before we might dissapear or something!
It was about a week ago at a barbeque party at MC W1febeater's house, with the band, crew and several girls ( friends :), when desaster struck the first time. Almost done with the grill, serving up the last round of steaks, the fucking thing just goes up in flames with the damn gas tank right in the middle of it. Luckily no one stood right in front of it where a huge fireball came shooting out. MC dove into the flames to turn of the gas, got away with a slightly burned forearm and was real lucky after all. Don't even wanna think about how close we were to some kind of explosion on the patio! Manufacturing error turned out to be the cause. Thanks a lot a..holes!
On saturday we traveled to Dessau to co - headline the Oranienbaum Open Air with " Das Ich". We've seen this shit before: The promoter is near a nervous breakdown and absolutely nothing is working out the way it was supposed to. To make a long, boring story short, everything just turned be a nerve - wrecking hassle, pissing off everyone! Only to be on stage and with our fans kept us from completely going nuts, although some smart ass dudes in the audience obviously felt the need to express their bad, stiff mood throughout. To round up this " super " chain of events we got involved in a pretty bad car accident on our way home on the Autobahn. Smashed up the entire left side of our van and ended up in the bushes due to the effect of hydro planing. Rolf, our soundman and driver that day, managed to stay calm, did the right thing and saved us from flipping over or even worse! Once again no one was hurt! Not even a scratch!! What remains is the question why and what thell will happen next??

(June 30th '03) TYPE O NEGATIVE and EVEREVE live! Abart Club, Zürich ( CH )

For all of you who missed the show last night, just imagine what it would be like hanging out in a sauna with Type O Negative and EverEve all night!! With hundreds of wild fans in there as well, turning the place into a sweat - soaked madhouse. Switzerland definitely has some of the craziest fans out there!!
We'd also like to take this chance to thank Type O Negative and their entire crew for being such cool people and really nice guys, making this evening a success for all of us! And last but not least everyone at the Abart Club and all the fans, making it all possible! See you maniacs next time.

(April 09th '03 ) FSK!

EVEREVE multi - media - part of potential danger to moral standards!

Due to new FSK (German censorship) regulations, the new EverEve album ".enetics.." is not allowed to be sold to fans under the age of 18 at certain CD stores. Initiating such moral concern is the multi media-part of our limited edition. As of now, sound carrier products with visual content like videos, screensavers, photos etc. are to be screened by the FSK and provide the carrier with a built-in rating. If that's not the case, the CD is automatically labeled with an "18 and over" sticker or can be refused to be sold.

The band comments on this preventive censorship: "We do support this kind of action whole hearted! After all, the right place for sex education is on private television starting at 7 o'clock p.m., daily! History has shown us time and time again that liberality and open talks about sex demoralise a great deal straight down to vitiation.
Well, we are glad to be on our way of virtue again....... gotta jerk off first though!"

We are happy to inform you that there will be two exclusive release shows when our new album ".enetics" (24-03-02) hits the stores:

On both dates we will show you our new video and some excerpts from the multimediapart taken from the limited bonus-CD of .enetics right before our performance. There will also be an extensive setlist and some special features. In order to welcome as many E-Maniacs as possible to these events the ticket prices will be especially low.

Moreover we will host an EverEve-listening party in Geneva (CH) at the Big Ben Pub on March 20th (no live appearance).

(December 22nd '02 ) Studio report of the new EverEve album ".enetics- 11 orgies of massenjoyment on the dark side of the planet" at the Cream Studios ("Snap", " Nazareth", " Nena", " Toto" etc.) in Frankfurt (GER.)

Hi everybody!
We're proud to announce that we've concluded the recording of our new album ".enetics...." on friday the 13th of this month. Now we know we're not superstitious, because the result couldn't have turned out any better!! This album has everything each one of us could have ever ask for as far as individual expression goes and gels perfectly in such a strong setting as a whole we call EverEve.

On our way to the studio report we were pretty thrilled to see the journalists and the other guests respond. After all ".enetics..." probably ended up being quite harder than anyone expected it to be. In the end it was great to see that these people adapted to it really well!
A sign of things to come.
B.t.w.: We had German television aboard that day.
It's the Hessen Fernsehen station. The show is called "Newcomer" and can also be received via D- Box (Premiere). It's on every monday night at 11:15 p.m. (23:15 Uhr). Just keep checking there on mondays for more of us. If we get specific air time we'll put it up right here! We'll also have some pictures of the studio report up here soon!

(December 18th '02 ) Statement concerning the "Dark Dance Festival" in Lahr (GER) on Dec. 21st '02:

Lately it became obvious that the word is spreading EverEve would play at the "Dark Dance Festival" in Lahr on Dec. 21th. This information is false. We do NOT play at this festival! As a matter of fact, we had to clearly turn down the offer to play there because we are on a really tight schedule and therefore would have been impossible for us timewise. Inconceivably though, did we somehow end up appearing on the billing anyway. Since there is no way for us to play, we would like to apologize for this misunderstanding and hopefully there won't be too many people looking forward to an EverEve show that night. For all our fans in southern Germany we are going to play an exclusive CD-release show in Lörrach in march 2003 introducing the new album live. Keep checking the concert-section for more details. Look out for ".enetics" (march 24th), have a merry "mad"-mas and a happy new year !

(December 6th '02 ) Statement zum Dark Dance Festival am 21.12. in Lahr (GER):
In den letzten Tagen und Wochen hat sich offenbar die Nachricht verbreitet, wir würden am 21.12. auf dem Dark Dance Festival in Lahr spielen. Dies ist nicht richtig, wir spielen NICHT auf diesem Festival. Fakt ist, daß uns ein Angebot für das Dark Dance vorlag, welches wir aus verschiedenen organisatorischen und zeitlichen Gründen absagen mußten. Aus irgendwelchen Gründen sind wir wohl dennoch in die Werbung gerutscht. Da wir auf keinen Fall spielen können, tut uns dieses Mißverständnis leid und wir hoffen, daß sich an diesem Abend nicht zu viele Leute vergeblich auf einen EverEve-Auftritt freuen. Für alle Fans aus dem süddeutschen Raum werden wir im März 2003 einen exklusiven CD-Release-Gig in Lörrach spielen, bei dem wir das komplette neue Album live vorstellen werden. (November 18th '02 ) Live Studio Update
The recordings of our new album .enetics have been in full gear for about a week now. After tracking drums and bass together live at first, we`re just about done with the guitars as well at this point. So far, we can honestly say that we're more than satisfied with the realisation of our visions of .enetics in the studio. Next up will be MZ Eve51 to get it on with this massive wall of sound and leave his mark. Meanwhile our 11 orgys continue to keep us quite busy ...

Seit einer Woche laufen die Aufnahmen für unser neues Album .enetics auf Hochtouren. Nachdem als erstes Drums und Bass zusammen live eingespielt wurden, sind jetzt auch schon die Gitarrenaufnahmen so gut wie im Kasten. Bisher sind wir mehr als zufrieden mit der Umsetzung unserer Visionen von .enetics. Als nächstes heißt es Ring frei für MZ Eve51, um sich an diesem fetten Fundament auszulassen und ihm seinen markanten Stempel aufzudrücken. Noch sind unsere 11 Orgien nicht zu Ende gefeiert ...

Just to keep you up to date:
We recently finished the pre-production for our new album ".enetics ...". Everybody who listened to it so far is positive that this is going to be one kick-ass album!!!
Everything is on schedule; only two days to our photo session in Zürich (SUI), and little more than two weeks till S-day! Woooooot!

(September 6th '02 ) Album News
".enetics - 11 orgies for massenjoyment on the dark side of the planet" is the official full length titel of the new EverEve album. The songmaterial in conjunction with the titel promises to be a real binder of all sorts of fans. New bassplayer O-IQ will lay down the basstracks.
Further has the band decided to work once again with producer Gerhard Magin.
Studiodate will be November 12th and the release is set to be in March '03!

(September 1st '02 ) Line Up!

EverEve and bassist SMart Basstard have decided to part ways after more than eight years of collaborating and sharing the stage. Major problems in the area of organizing and lack of time caused both parties to drift apart and left the band with no other choice.
EverEve's new bassplayer is O-IQ, the "Bassdoctor". A well known- top of the line bass player, hailing from Germany's Saarland area. He'll display his extraordinary talents already on Oct. 12th, at the Wünnstock Festival in Paderborn, with the Eve for the first time!

That'll be the last show before recording the new album in November, on which everyone will be able to check out "the new guy"!
MAKE NO MISTAKE: Your Eve is all fuelled up and ready to go!!!

(August 4th '02 ) Studio Sessions!
Germany's leading cyber goth rockers EverEve will enter the studio in mid- november to start recording the new album.
On their fifth longplayer the band is going to continue serving up "Music for orgys of massenjoyment on the dark side of the planet and everyone's invited."
With the new material being more hard-driving guitar oriented, EverEve expands the direction given on "E-Mania".
Of course, this wouldn't be the new EverEve album unless it had some surprises in store for you. No word on the title yet.

Release will be in early 2003 by Massacre/Sony.

(July 22nd '02 ) "Kurzes Statement zu unserem Auftritt bei den Metal Days (CH- Pratteln, 3-8-02):
Da es bei uns bereits einige Mails/Anfragen bezüglich unserer relativen frühen Spielzeit und Spielpostion auf den Metal Days gab, hier ein kurzes Statement dazu: In der Tat werden wir bei diesem Festival sehr früh spielen (13.15-14 Uhr auf der Open-Air-Stage), obwohl einige vermeintlich "kleinere" Bands nach uns im Billing auftauchen. Die Gründe hierfür sind:

a) wir sind relativ spät auf das Billing gerutscht und der Veranstalter hat uns von vornherein darüber informiert, daß die meisten späteren Positionen bereits fest vergeben sind.
Nachdem unser letztes Album sehr gute Reaktionen aus der Schweiz hervorrief, wollten wir bereits letztes Jahr auf den Metal Days spielen, waren jedoch in dieser Zeit in Belgien unterwegs. Dieses Jahr wollen wir deshalb unbedingt in Pratteln auftauchen - auch wenn es zu dieser relativ frühen Zeit ist.

b) ein wichtiges Mitglied unserer Crew muß unmittelbar nach unserem Auftritt in Pratteln in den hohen Norden Deutschlands reisen, um dort noch einen anderen Job wahrzunehmen. Insofern ist auch deswegen eine frühe Spielzeit für ihn sehr praktisch.

c) da es sich um ein 3-Tages-Festival handelt, sind wir davon überzeugt, daß auch zu so früher Stunde bereits einige Leute am Start sein werden, um mit uns eine gute Zeit zu haben.

In diesem Sinne freuen wir uns, nach fast 3 Jahren endlich mal wieder in der Schweiz zu sein. Zum Abschluß möchten wir Euch noch ans Herz legen, daß es auf den Metal Days eine EverEve-Autogrammstunde geben wird (voraussichtlich um 15 Uhr/Metalworld-Stand) und wir am 5.10.2002 eine Headlinershow in Rheinfelden (D/ ca. 15 km von Pratteln) spielen werden.

(June 8th '02 ) MC Podlaga, Sezana (SLO)
Gig billing/running order: EverEve, End of Eternity.
Once again are we on our way to another country where we haven't played before. Very interesting since we just don't really know what to expect. The only thing we do know is that "Demons", of our album "E- MANIA", is placed at position #7 of the radio charts there and quite a few of those people buy our CD's.

We are scheduled to play at the local club MC Podlaga with the opening Goth Metal band "End of Eternity" from Italy that Saturday. Funny feeling once we got there. This place ain't even big enough to be called a small town. This, ladies and gentleman, is where the cows come home. That's right, nomans land. Cool! A whole place just for us to party with ourselfs. But hey, let's wait and see. Past experiences prooved over and over again that anything is possible. Meanwhile we meet up with our graphic designer Aleksander backstage. For all of you who don't know whom we're talking about:
He's the artist who designed the "Regret" and "E-mania" artworks (and of course the original "Stormbirds" cover, which was rejected by NB...)
He came all the way from Croatia to see the show, meet us and of course show us his latest ideas. Very impressive work! In cooperation with him we'll have some killer artwork for our new album cover in the works, which already looks very involved.

One hour before showtime and still ghost city. Half an hour later, I gotta take a piss and can't hardly even get to the bathroom. MC Podlaga turned within the last 30 minutes into a crowded rock club with all the action you could possibly ask for.
I tell ya if you look up the phrases "A blessing in disguise" or the old "...calm before the storm" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of MC Podlaga right next to it.
This was a 100%-no bullshit rockin crowd.
After more than 90 minutes worth of music and two encores it was done! Big ass smiley faces everywhere.

(June 1st '02 ) AKK Festival in Karlsruhe (GER)
Hot, sunny weather outside!
EverEve is kickin' off the open air season, headlining the AKK Festival, supported by three other bands.
At about seven o' clock p.m. the festival is already almost an hour behind schedule. This really pushed the patience of a lot of our fans as we found out by some of them throwing all kinds of bottles and plastic cups on stage.
11:00 p.m., we're on. During the show, MZ successfully managed to calm down that group of aggressors and it became clear that the majority of these 800 and some people in attendance showed up to simply have a good time and enjoy the EverEve showdown. Perfect! That's why we're here!! New add-on to the show was MZ lighting up the stage with a couple of SOS torches, resembling somewhat of a "human torch" himself.
Obviously excited by this E-cstacy, they wouldn't wanna let us go without an encore. No can do! The KA Police Department already shut down the power. Too loud! Well, for us just too unfuckingbelievable. But we'll return for some payback next time and wanna see all of you (except for the cops of course) again!

(May 11th '02 ) Feuertanz Festival Alte Schmiede in Aalen!
Festival billing/running order: In Extremo, EverEve, End of Green, Slyde, and Mondschein.
One of the few festivals for us this year, since we're busy writing for the new album!
At about noon we're on our way to the festival.
Aboard with us, in addition to our crew, is our new merchandiser Fröbe. More about this character later...
We arrive at 5:00 p.m., meet and greet with everyone and check out the venue. The "Alte Schmiede" is a big ol' warehouse that just barely survived World War II. But it's huge and therefore perfect to rock with quite a few fans. A big round of applause for everyone involved in putting on this very well organized event and taking real good care of all the bands and fans!

Since 7:00 p.m. Mondschein, Slyde and End of Green are warming up the crowd. 9:30 p.m.: Time for us to kick it with about 1600 party hungry festival goers! Say no more, we know what to do!
An incredible atmosphere, enthusiastic fans, and the common goal to just leave everything behind for an awesome time together, are all the ingredients you need to serve up a healthy dose of some live EverEve stew!
Feeding the rest of the fest is In Extremo with their legendary show. All participants agree to take this a step further with some hardcore partying backstage and at the hotel later on.

Great piece of entertainment: Mercher Fröbe (remember?) puts a fucking condom over his head, pulls it all the way down to the chin and blows up the rubber by pumping it up with only his nose. (aww, they grow up soo fast - Havoc)
(Plus you should've heard the noises he made. Pneumonia?)
Standing ovations and eye witnesses left in awe, is all I can remember of this fun packed evening. Now that's a good thing. In conclusion we thank YOU for being there!!!

(Apr. 25th '02 ) Hello everybody!
Just wanna fill you in on what we've been up to.
Got back from a bunch of headliner shows, which started off real well with a next to being sold out show at the "Sonderbar" in Loerrach. What a welcome for us, playing a packed place in our hometown area. We'd like to thank each and everyone of you for showing up. It's always great fun coming back to our loyals! "Spiritual Plague" opened up the show. It was their first time ever. No problem though, they did a good job.

Next we headed for the "Psychatrie Club" in Achern. There we shared the stage with local act "Valid". They've been around for a while and cashed in some really good feedback from the crowd. Yes, E- Maniacs are tolerant and always appreciate a good band! Quote of the day: " Thank you EverEve for coming and giving us what we need!" Our fans are the best.

Heidelberg, "Schwimmbad" on a Wednesday. Always nervous about shows during the week. But you showed up and made it worth our while! Pretty small place. Support: "Bl- open'a' -dflowerz"...
Speaking of support, I gotta tell ya it's been so cool and a real pleasure giving some less experienced bands, who are just starting out, the opportunity to play and to see how the whole thing works. Very important stuff!
Afterwards we met up with Felix (Crematory) at the bar for a couple of cool ones. What......?!??? Did somebody say "Bläckföss" ?? Aaahhhhh..... shut up!

Last stop on this rather small tour: "Live Club" in Bamberg.
What can I say, once in a while you work with people (in this case the club promoter) who are really amateurs hiding behind a facade of fucking big mouth professionalism. It turns out the dude didn't do shit to promote the gig and therefore passed on the responsibility to some other promoter 48 hours before the concert. Excellent eh?!
Well, Axel the new guy in charge, did all he could in those two days and ended up saving the event - a pretty close shave indeed! Nevertheless, we will return to Bamberg in Fall' 02. Keep your eyes open and check back on this page, i.e. the Concerts-Section!

Also are we lucky enough to have such die hard fans that came from all over.
Such as Rico, Julia and Christine from Thuringia (Thüringen), Katrin and Torsten from Vienna.
They travelled so freaking long, so here is a speacial thank you to you guys. And of course everyone from Regensburg!! We can always count on you.
Pulling off this chaotic evening with us were three other bands: "Rising Force", "Circle of Grief" and "Sun of Sadness". With all of them being professional, the festival was right on schedule and made it a night to remember for everyone.

Ignoring the ridiculous 1:00 o'clock curfew and partying til' dawn, rounded up this series of shows perfectly! Like I said our fans are the best, sticking with us no matter what.

Now we wanna see you all again at the FEUERTANZ FESTIVAL with "In Extremo" in Aalen on May 11th, the UNI FEST in Karlsruhe on June 1st, the very first time ever for us in Sezana (SLOVENIA) at MC PODLAGA on June 8th and the infamous METAL DAYS in Pratteln (Switzerland) on August 3rd.

Just to keep you informed: right now, we're working on new stuff for our next album. Nevertheless, we still do some gigs; you know: for friends, people we know, and people we know for a while and for some obscure reason still remain to be our friends...
Just kidding.
People, my advice is to get yourself a neat dosis of the old LIVEMANIA! Just a few gigs this spring, but the more of you actually show up, the merrier it'll get!

( Dec. 30th '01 ) Tour Diary Pt. 6; Potsdam, Lindenpark
Last day already.

The right time to end this tour? Enough of being on the road? Sorry, but there is no such thing as the right time or having enough!!! Especially when working with such kind pros.
Everyone is doing their thing and in the end all the pieces fit perfectly. I'm talking about Rolf and Sascha of the EverEve crew and the Subway to Sally crew members. Let's not forget our drivers, without whom we simply wouldn't get to the shows.
Thanx Andy for taking this huge responsibility, our trust and doing a great job!
If you saw Potsdam that day you know what I'm talking about. The place was covered in white. Wasn't exactly a picnic making our way through with two nightliners and two trucks.
After soundcheck it's dinner time at the diner nearby, which is already crowded with fans waiting for the Lindenpark club to open. Back there we meet some cute teenie girls. Are we the Backstreet Boys? Don't worry. They belong to Loosavana, who'll open up the concert.
For Subway to Sally to play here, on the night before new years, has become a tradition as they've been doing it for years. About a hundred guests, mostly friends and relatives, occupy the backstage area.
Loosavana is stirring up the audience pretty good and receice positive feedback.
We got a real lively crowd tonight, having a great time no matter what. Perfect for us to dive right in. Everything goes! It seems like we can't do anything wrong with these crazed maniacs. Shows like this make 45 minutes feel like four minutes. Now there is no holding back and MZ Eve 51 is ready for some stagediving.
After being carried through the venue, on those hands, he makes it back on stage just in time to finish up. Wow, what a blast!!

S.T.S. then completely drive the fans up the wall and bring this great tour to a close. Everybody's celebrating late into the night, despite the fact that all of us would've much rather continued touring. No need to worry though! Just keep checking with the EvereEve Website, because more shows/tours are planned and some are already confirmed (see concert section), with and without S.T.S.
Last but not least would we like to thank Subway to Sally once more for inviting us on this trip!! And of course, none of this would have been possible without YOU, the fans!! Keep it up & see ya sooooon!

( Dec. 29th '01 ) Tour Diary Pt. 5; Bad Salzungen, Pressenwerk
Slowly recovering from last night, we crawl out of the bus into the Pressenwerk for breakfast.
Only SMart Basstard seems to be without a trace of alcohol in his blood. This guy is pounding out some hardcore ping pong playing at the club's own ping pong table, taking on everyone in his sight. Jumping up and down, to the side and attacking his opponents in such a forceful way, you could shit your pants!
Enough of the sports, we gotta do soundcheck.

By now you might notice some kinda routine in our life on tour:
Crawl out of the bus, eat, fuck around, soundcheck, fuck around, showtime, fuck (around?), hit the road, crawl.....
Nevertheless do we expect some fans tonight who announced their presence at this show a long time ago. And yes, we've heard you going off! This time it wasn't just us working the audience, but also them pushing us. What more could you want?!
Closed the show with "Fade to Grey" to bring down the house one more time! This has been one of our most successful shows in that part of the country. While hanging out with numerous people at the merchandise booth later on, we almost forgot about the german folk song/ arm wrestling competition. What do you know, the challenger backs out! No, seriously, S.T.S were just spread out all over the place. Eric the singer just couldn't find his supporting bandmembers anywhere.
Well, like I said, we wouldn't stand a chance anyhow with our next to nothing folk-song repertoire. Arm wrestling became irrelevant as well. (afraid?)
A group of fans, talking to MZ Eve 51, ended up inviting him to celebrate carnival with them this upcoming season. How 'bout some carnival Rio style and get some booty!!!

Special event this evening: Watching four hours of all 80's spandex- make-up- poser video clips from Ratt, Bon Jovi, Stryper, Dokken, Poison..... you name it. Was this for real back then?
You're constantly guessing, who or what is this dude looks like a 25 cents slut shit? Damn bubblegum clips where everyone wanted to be sooooo cute. Motherfucking hilarious I tell ya!
Don't try this at home, unless you've got enough heavy duty narcotics to survive the experience!!!!
Finally we just passed out somewhere on the floor, couch and in the lavatory on our way to Potsdam.

( Dec. 28th '01 ) Tour Diary Pt. 4; Krefeld, KUFA
Krefeld: One of the great places you can find in Germany's " Ruhrpott" area to party! We were really looking forward to finally play here again. Unfortunately we couldn't be here as much as we would have liked to lately. Real nice club with real nice personnel. Fantastic Thai take out food. Burning hot! This place is packed again.
But hey, what's this!? Female underwear flying around on stage during our show! Prime target MZ Eve's open invitation so to speak. Smells like E- Mania spirit!!
These people are 100% on track with us. A great combination of open minded folks and EverEve fans up front, singing along to such classics as " Fall into Oblivion" and brandnew stuff like " T.o O.ur D.enial", or banging their brains out during " Suzanne"!
On their way to the stage Subway to Sally stop by our dressing room, expressing their relief about being on the road again with a band that also seems to work well with their crowd.
Very professional gesture! Meanwhile our bachstage room is stuffed with EverEve fans, including the slip throwing females. This one in particular came all the way from Vienna (Austria) to have her underwear share the stage with us. We have our hands full and got some back-up from our tech. Sascha, who proofed to be a real riot on this "waysted in Krefeld" mission.
Still do we have to leave early to get to Bad Salzungen. The weather forecast is predicting some heavy snowfall !

( Dec. 27th, '01 ) Tour Diary Pt.3; Braunschweig, FBZ
Waking up at about noon in our nightliner and a quick look out the window reminds us again what time of the year it is. Snow everywhere and freezing fucking cold outside.

Average breakfast time these days would be approximately at 1:00 o' clock p.m. Braunschweig has the smallest venue on this tour, counting 1000 fans. Here would also be the toughest, most reserved audience of all places. Not too reserved though! After all, even these die-hards ended up respecting EverEve and getting in the right mood for our Cyber Goth Metal. Some female E- Maniacs made it backstage to meet everyone, talk, shake hands and......... you know.

At the end of the night S.T.S frontman Erik informs us about a German folk song competition between S.T.S and EverEve, which is set to take place on the 29th in Bad Salzungen.
He also suggested arm wrestling for the two vocalists as a substitute. Excellent, because we do not know a single, traditional, german folk song! (only such crap as "Country Roads", "Kumbaya", Hava Nagila", "Der Wind"... At least this song's in our native German tongue...)
So, you go MZ Eve 51, and don't you let us down!!
While he's already pumping iron for this event, the rest of the guys are busy finishing off the booze in the backstage area. PROST!!!

( Dec. 26th, '01 ) Tour Diary Pt.2; Dresden, Alter Schlachthof
First impression: This place is huge!

Aboard with us our longtime front of house soundman Rolf " Magic Fingers" Lung and for the first time, guitar and drum tech., Sascha von Torrent.
Meet and greet with the guys of S.T.S and their crew. Let's get down to it and set up for soundcheck. Unfortunately there is even less space left on stage with Subway's set up than expected. With the drums off to the corner and the backdrop to the front, we just barely fit up there.
O.K we're hungry now. Gotta get some of that turkey breast for dinner. Nice touch added to our meal: S.T.S guitarplayers brushing up on some acoustic parts in the catering room. Tasty!
One hour til' showtime: Digest your antibiotics quick. Intro is playing but the lights are dimmed. "Misery's Dawn" kicked in and the light's remain the same. What the hell is going on? But we don't care too much, 'cause these 2000 somewhat people obviously also came to party with the EVE.
No need to tell us twice. We're loving it!!

Almost exclusively playing material of E- MANIA turned out to be the right decision for our live set. We're able to take this crowd for a ride, turning them on more and more with each song and have a really great time together. Leaving an audience that clearly wanted some more surely made us feel certain that we chose the right tour!
Later on Subway gave 'em the rest as you could see an exhausted, yet happy crowd leave the venue.
Did anyone say Subway to Sally fans are intolerant and ignorant? Sorry, we can't support that statement.

P.S. The light guy did wake up at the end of " Misery's Dawn" to do his job. Something that would definitely not happen again! Tomorrow we'll be in Braunschweig. So long!

( Dec. 25th '01 ) Tour Diary, Pt.1
Christmas, holidays, most wonderful time of the year, getting together with your loved ones.......... SCREW YOU!!! Time for EverEve to go on tour.

We wanna hit the road, sweat our asses of, meet our fans, get fucked (up) and enjoy every single moment on stage! Well, at least we got a nice holiday hangover while driving up to our warm up show with UMBRA ET IMAGO and IN EXTREMO at the Alarm Club in Zwickau ( Ger.) . The Darkstorm Festival.
This event takes place pretty early. We're supposed to play at 6:30 p.m. Icy conditions on the road make this trip rather difficult. SMart Basstard our bassplayer, traveling by train from Berlin, arrived there before we did and managed to organize our backline for that evening.
All he needed now was the rest of the band! But we made it just in time. I wanna take this chance to thank UMBRA for being extremely cooperative and giving us their backline!
6:30 p.m. Let's break some bones!! Full house. Misery's Dawn, Someday, The Flesh Divine........ and everyone is happy! That's the way we like it. Despite the crowd demanding encores, we had to finish: Festival Schedule. Next best thing to do was watching the cute Umbra ladies do their thing on stage. Unfortunately not quite as explicit as their show in Belgium at the Euro Rock. But hey what are memories for!? Besides, this was just our warm- up.
Tomorrow will be tour kick- off with Subway to Sally! Will EverEve break the spell of Subway's supporting acts just not cutting it, not being accepted by their spoiled, demanding fans???

(Dec. 04th '01) Listen up everybody!
In case you didn't know it already: The Czech Republic rules! We didn't know it either. But we've been there, in Brno, last weekend playing a show with local heroes Inner Fear and Orkrist from Slovakia. Well we're surely glad about gaining this new knowledge. Wouldn't you if you just found out where some of the finest women live??!! Damn!!!
However, let's not forget that we took this trip to headline a very cool concert. It was our first time there, so we didn't know what to expect. While getting ready for the show, Inner Fear really worked the crowd hard and did an excellent job preparing those E- Maniacs for their first Live- Mania experience ever. What happened then couldn't have been better. A perfect match of people getting what they came for and five guys enthusiastically delivering the goods! We'll be back for more. Count on it!

And everyone is praying. Killers and victims alike. All that's left is no end to this cycle of pure madness....

Our old friends Crematory asked us to support their very last gig on Sep. 29th in Osterode (Ger).
We are glad to be part of this special event. Those guys and us had great times and quite a lot of gigs and fun together. We won't ever forget our tour with them.

(Aug. 30th '01) Returned from the Summer Breeze Festival.
There wasn't much of a breeze. Rather a hell of a lot of summer. We're talking about temperatures that could cause a damn wildfire.
4:10 p.m. Time to take a bath in cyber- sweat. Cookin' it up in the first rows were our hometown "Irrlicht" folks from down south, going apeshit. Thanx for showing. You rock! And so did everyone else.
Seriously, we didn't know we have such a huge following in that area. Otherwise we would have rented a separate beertent for this tremendeous turnout at the signingsession. Now that's what we mean by having lot's of fun in the sun!

(Aug. 11th '01) Played the Euro Rock Festival last Saturday.

Our second time in Belgium. It's been a while since our first visit. What can i say. Some things don't change. Real nice people, who have themselves well organized. Things went sooo smooth. Opened with "Misery's Dawn". Already the keyboardintro showed us that these people know their stuff and made us feel welcome. From this moment on it was an exceptional rush bashing the stage for this crazed crowd. WE LOVE THAT SHIT!! Totally turned on by this madness, M.Z. EVE 51 ended up climbing some speaker stacks, he probably wouldn't even touch in regular condition. He could always become a fucking stuntman if it ain't gonna work out with the music. 7:00 P.M. Signing session at the MINDVIEW Magazine booth. We came in third on their soundcheck positioning of this months' issue. Excellent. It's always fantastic being in foreign countries, meeting your fans that already know you. All the more reason to increase international activities. Check here frequently for upcoming shows! (15 Jul.'01, 8:00 a.m) Absolutely, positively don't wannaget out of bed.
It's already been a long week of Sex, Drugs & Cyber Goth. But Austria is calling. That means plenty of long hours sitting in the bus and getting hammered with our friends Jim&Jack at the gas stations on the way. 12 hours later the "Manic-Circus Vehicle" reaches it's destination. H.O.E, Wiener Neustadt. Everyone there seems to be in a pretty good mood about the festival, which is still right on schedule for the most part so far. 8:00 p.m and not even one fucking drink left backstage. Time for our little helpers to organize the goods, no matter what! They are reliable let me tell you. Enough reason to mostly stay at the hotel the next day. Chill-out time before showtime. Getting ready to hit the festival. Once there,the guy in charge makes us aware of some so called "minor" changes/delays. Actualy nothing unusual for festivals with numerous bands. Meanwhile meet&greet is taking place with our fans, who in part came a long way as well, to see us. We're supposed to take the stage at 9:20 p.m. By that time the chaos was perfect. What seemed to be minor at first has gotten completely out of hand now. You'd think that after years and years of touring, playing festivals etc. ,you've seen it all. Try this: Ever Eve ended up playing at half past midnight (with still about six more bands to go after our gig). Three hours delayed! How come? Failure of management on all counts, by the ones in charge of the running order/times! Sure did it suck for us. But what about the fans?!? They won't forget. That's all I can say. We were only lucky enough to have such loyal fans sticking around. In the end you were absolutely worth dealing with the shit!
Here is to you, living the MANIA!!

(June 21st '01) Some friends of us have brought it to our attention,

that when trying to get a copy of E-MANIA at certain CD stores, they actually ended up having to order it from the guy behind the counter. This is mostly the case with smaller independant stores.
If you experience anything like that, step right up and let 'em know what you want! Since this is as inconvenient for us as it is for you, it's even more important to not just shut up and taking it!

First of all we'd like to thank all E-MANIACS for showing up in such large numbers at our signing sessions and at the concert on sunday. With your support, this years W.G.T turned out to be a real blast for us. Simply amazing how well the E-MANIA material went over, even though it's not out until monday, June 11th.

(mar. '01) Some of you already know it, some may have guessed,
Benjamin Richter is no longer vocalist of EverEve. To make it short: He was no longer able to do an adequate job for the band. Keyborder MZ Eve 51 has taken over Ben's position a little while ago before the sessions for "E-Mania" started. You shouldn't/mustn't be worried about this line-up chaos; for the first time in EverEve's history, we are definately sure that the current line-up *is* stable, i.e. nobody coming from outside the band holds a position in EverEve. And what is even more important: MZ really CAN sing. Let's just say he's a naturally gifted wunderkind (he already did 90% of EverEve's vocal lines even before the change took place. As I told you before, you shouldn't be worried about us, we're utterly happy and satisfied with our new frontman).

Our new album "E-Mania" is completed. Everything's ready and done. A few days ago, we invited a number of journalists of Germany's most popular mags to be the first ones to listen to it - and they came in numbers we didn't dream of. Looks like the hard work's finally paying off after all these years...
The future never looked brighter for EverEve, all we need now is lotsa people who buy "E-Mania", and that's the point YOU come in ;), release is in the beginning of june '01 ("You oughta bloody well buy it!!!" sez Havoc...)

I just returned from the recording sessions, the only part that's still missing is the vocals (be prepared for a surprise...*grins*)
I can assure you, we recorded a killer! The guitar sound is outstanding (thanxxx go to Gerassi - our producer/engineer), bass/drums are as tight as never before... and here comes the best part: I can listen to "E-mania" much earlier than anybody else outside EverEve can! *puts on a happy face and dances around like a 5-year old*

I'm sure it would've sounded pretty much like that on an old newsreel or Wochenschau - given anybody wanted to know anything about us back then, yessir. Yea, I put it short: Today's the first day of our recording sessions. We will keep you up to date if anything happens that's *really* worth sharing with you guys. Perhaps we'll upload some pics, prelistening stuff (excerpts of course; despite of anything you may have heard about us, band not stoopid/baka, glll...), vi ses.
